The church of Jesus is a divinely ordained institution comprised of a fellowship of believers whose purpose is to:

1. Glorify God (Praise & Worship)

"To exalt the name of Jesus Christ through individual and corporate worship means".

2. Evangelize the Word (Present the Gospel to the lost)

"To evangelize our community, state, country, and world through evangelism means which proclaims the Word of God and calls people everywhere to respond to Jesus Christ through faith".

3. Edify Believer ( Fellowship & Christain education)

"To edify one another through fellowship, means of encouraging one another and building up the body into a unity of faith".

4. Equip Believers (Instruction)

"To equip the saints for the work of ministry through instruction means so the body may grow in the knowledge of the Son of God, to become mature disciples, and to fulfill the measure of the stature, which belongs to the fullness of Christ".

5. Enable Believers (Stewardship)

"To enable the body to fulfill this ministry purpose through the demonstration of wise stewardship over the resources God has so faithfully entrusted to this Body of Believers".

Service to the Local Body

Lily of the Valley seeks to provide for it's local body an environment conducive to spirtual development, moral excellence, soul winning, Christain effectiveness, crisis therapy, practical life skills, social responsiblity and the excercise of spirtual gifts.

Service to the unsaved

Lily of the Valley church seeks to attract those who are not saved to The Saving Grace of God through Jesus Christ. To encourage and strengthen new believers through the early critical stages of life as new born babes in the Lord.

Service to new members

Lily of the Valley desires to receive those who are mature Christians to become a part of our fellowship and know they are an intricate part of the life of our Worship Center.

While we depend upon God for success in ministry services nevertheless, our God whose name is excellent expect Lily of the Valley to operate at the "Highest Possible Level of Excellence" In every area of our ministry for Christ we seek to perform according to this standard.

Human Dignity

Lily of the Valley Church believes in the Human dignity of all people since all bear the image of the Almighty God. However the people of the Lord are precious in his sight in a very special way because of their relationship with Christ. Those who belong to the Lord deserve the best and are to be treated with dignity and respect.

Our members are our primary customers and our secondary customers are our friends, visitors, community and The body of Christ throughout the world. Our customers have great value to us. Lily of the Valleys' Ministry staff exist for the sake of the people of the Lord. We prefer people over policies: respect over procedures: dignity over Our dignity. The customer is always entitled to human dignity and respect, therefore, as we serve The Lord's people we also serve The Lord Jesus Christ

As Lily of the Valley Worship Center has entered the 21st our ministry is designed to be "The Church for the City" It is our mission to serve Christ in the inner city and to provide Life and vitality to the urgent, pressing, multi-faceted, multi -cultural needs of the city.
